After ten years running Visual Connections LLC, co-owners Deborah Free and Edward Leigh have decided to make it available for acquisition.
Will there be expos in 2018?
The current owners will not be organizing expos after New York 2017. However they are seeking a buyer that will want to continue the expo program. They are keen to facilitate a prompt sale to ensure that at least a New York expo takes place in 2018.
What will happen to the directory?
We will continue to promote and maintain the online directory. If you have an active listing subscription, you will continue to benefit as now. (In fact we plan to make some further enhancements to the presentation and content.)
What will happen to my data?
We have no intention of selling or licensing your data separately to the sale of the business. The owners are seeking a buyer that intends to pursue the current objective of Visual Connections, to connect buyers and suppliers of visual media.
Why are you selling?
The owners want to pursue other business interests. The industry has changed enormously in the past ten years, and almost beyond recognition in the past twenty years. The owners believe that it’s time for new people with new ideas to push the business forward from here.
Is the company in financial distress?
The company is in excellent health, with no debts or obligations that it cannot honor. The sale is entirely voluntary.
