After two years of turmoil in the industry (on both sides of the fence), it does now seem that business has stabilized, if at a significantly lower level compared with early 2008. It was most encouraging to see six recently-launched agencies exhibiting (Depositphotos, In Transit Images, Mother Image, Robana Picture Library, Snapfish Stock Images and Venus Stock). The importance of the NY market is emphasized by the fact that 30% of the exhibitors came from outside the US (from Canada, UK, Sweden, Germany and France).
